Powering Australia's technology brilliance

Australia has a significant and growing shortage of technology professionals. The gap is real, it’s widening and it needs closing. ACS is the organisation best placed to close it.

ACS sets the bar for technology standards in Australia, consulting to government and ensuring university courses are among the highest standards in the world, and assesses overseas qualifications for incoming technologists. It had the reach, the resources and the credibility. What it lacked was a brand strategy sharp enough to speak to seven distinct audiences from early career professionals to senior leaders, and overseas talent, while positioning itself as the organisation a faster-moving technology landscape demands.

The strategic foundation was simple but powerful: it’s people who power technology, not the other way around. ACS’s value isn’t in its certification and network alone; it’s in what those things do for professionals who belong to it, and through them, for Australia. That became the brand’s purpose: Powering Australia’s technology brilliance.

The work covered vision, mission, purpose, a core value proposition and adapted propositions for each of the seven audiences, key messages and a full messaging framework — plus the full visual and verbal identity, built to integrate directly into ACS's existing systems from day one.
The result is a brand with a clear reason to belong to, and a clear reason to believe in. Australia’s technology future. In safe hands.
